Nico and Chantal pledged their vows to each other at the classic VIP Mansion and had the whole audience in tears. Their personal vows sounded like that of pure poetry. Lucky for us Brian Perry captured the love between them perfectly in this wedding video.

Congratulations Nico and Chantal! We wish you nothing but happiness and love!

Old Tradition with a Modern Twist

By | Hamilton Oaks Winery, Wedding Fashion, Wedding Inspiration, Wedding Planning, Wedding Reception Ideas, Weddings in California | No Comments

Let’s face it, there are not many couples looking to wed in a traditional church anymore. With this boom of modern weddings, more and more Brides and Grooms are tying the knot  in outdoor ceremony venues. We are not knocking those beautiful church weddings (#katemiddleton), just stating the facts. Speaking of this new age, many Brides are opting to bring tradition to this “modern” ceremony.  One way to do this is to bring the church outside! By bringing in church pews to an outdoor ceremony, you create the perfect blend of creativity and time-honored seating.

weddingRecently, VIP Events and Weddings was fortunate enough to provide these beautiful church pews for a featured wedding on the Hallmark Channel. Are you familiar with those three little words that made so many of us ball like a baby and use a whole box of tissues?? “MOVE…THAT…BUS!” Extreme Home Makeover designer and carpenter, Paige Hemmis, had us swooning over the amazing houses the team would create and build. Now she is flipping houses with her fiancé Jason Short in Las Vegas, NV.

Our VIP Team had a great time at the Universal Studios in California delivering and setting up for Paige and Jason’s big day! Here are some sneak peak photographs of the wedding setup. The wedding airs June 22nd, 2015 @ 8:00PM on the Hallmark Channel. onset onset3 onset2 onset4Click here for Paige and Jason’s Wedding Website, which has more info and videos.  Tune in on Monday to see this traditional, DIY wedding with lots of twists!

Burst of Color!

By | Brides, Destination Weddings, Mansion Wedding, Wedding Fashion, Wedding Inspiration, Wedding Venue, Weddings in California | No Comments

One of our favorite things about weddings is that they all have a unique character. We love when the Bride and Groom choose to be bold and use everyday things we see to inspire their wedding. This gorgeous wedding was inspired by the natural burst of color, flavor and sweetness of the “clementine.” If you are scratching your head, picture a mini orange. The bright and bold colors of this wedding, accented with indigo, is the perfect combination at The Villa Contempo Mansion.

Sometimes Brides can be cautious in using bright colors for their wedding, however, the pops of color make it unique and unforgettable. So even if you went with a neutral palette, add lots of greenery to your flower arrangements; it will keep that classy feel but add a little something “extra.”

Happy Planning!

Brie and Ryan said “I Do” with the striking backdrop of The Venetian Mansion. The columns, wrought iron doors, large windows, and perfect courtyard make you feel as though you are entering Tuscany for the day.

Pre-Wedding Workout

By | Brides, Bridesmaid, Destination Weddings, Hamilton Oaks Winery, Honeymoon, Mansion Wedding, Styled Shoots, Wedding Fashion, Wedding Inspiration, Wedding Planning, Wedding Reception Ideas, Wedding Venue, Weddings, Weddings in California | No Comments

When someone is getting married, one of the top things on their list to-do is get in shape!   Your wedding is one of those days you want to look and feel your absolute best. Some brides go overboard, get way too stressed about hitting the gym, and then give up easily. Some are not as motivated and so the idea of getting into an exercise routine can be overwhelming. Therefore, we have come up with a list of just 5 baby steps to kickstart your pre-wedding workout journey!     PWW1

1. Decide and Commit: Think about exactly what you would like to accomplish; do you need to tone up, lose inches, or shed some pounds, etc.? Now choose an exercise and eating regimen to get you closer to that goal! Generally, eating “clean” and high intensity cardio are a great combo to start with! Remember that what you eat is just as important as working out. Committing also means having accountability. Whether it’s your fiancé, a close friend, or a trainer, you will need someone to ask you how it’s going and maybe they will even hit the gym with you!      PWW2

2. Stock your closet with workout gear: There is nothing more motivating than feeling great about those new yoga pants and matching top!  Without even breaking a sweat you communicate, “Hi, I’m a serious athlete; check out the pocket in my dri-fit pull over.” Workout clothes are trending everywhere at the moment so there are some great deals you can get. Hello Fabletics by Kate Hudson! 🙂      PWW3

3. Create a playlist: Take some time, go through your iTunes account and create a specific pre-wedding workout playlist. It should be about 45 mins so you can time it with your routine. Put some songs you want played at your wedding so that you can visualize your transformed body and the big day while the song is on!       PWW4

4. Drink plenty of water: On a normal basis you need about 8 glasses of water per day; this still applies when you are getting married! Not to mention what all of this hydration will do for your skin, it will have amazing effects.      PWW5

5. Be confident and happy with yourself: At the end of the day, remember that your fiancé loves you for who you are. Out of all of the people in the world they chose YOU to be their life partner. No matter what the outcome is of your work out routine, you will radiate beauty if you are confident in your self.     PWW6PWW7

So get out there and move! Good luck!
